Along with classical music, dance and jazz performance David has also been busy photographing theater. His unique, personal and very often, touching viewpoint communicates the artistic vision of both directors and the artists he photographs. David is experienced in photographing opera, plays, fringe theater, children’s theater, cabaret, musical theater, variety and performance art. He has photographed in the Schloßpark theater, Podewil, Volksbühne, Theater o.N., Dock 11, Grips Theater, Atze Musiktheater, Deutsche Oper, as well as for the Fratz Theater Festival, Berliner Schaufenster as well as Action Theater™ & Physical Improvisation Festival to name a few.
